Happy Anniversary

Fifteen years ago today, I arrived in the Bay Area with bags in tow, moving here from North Carolina. Upon landing, I thought "what the h*ll are you doing?" Fortunately everything has turned out well, and I've been very happy in this very special part of the nation and world.

One of my friends, I can't remember who, once said "Don't you feel cool when you see people on a tour bus, knowing that they're jealous 'cause you live here?"

On another note, Jill Scott really put it down with this new CD!! Check it out, especially my favorites: "Golden" (of course), "Talk to Me", and the Minnie Riperton-flavored "My Petition." Wonderful!!!
